Format
Crazy horse leather: two sides, two characters
Crazy horse leather is full-grain cowhide impregnated with natural waxes. Its smooth, dark exterior has an immediately distressed appearance reminiscent of antique leather saddles. Its interior—the flesh side—reveals a warm, tawny raw suede that is naturally soft to the touch.
On the RELIURE, these two sides are visible and form an integral part of the design: the dark brown exterior protects, while the tawny interior welcomes. When the leather is folded or rubbed, the wax migrates beneath the surface and the color changes locally—a living leather that evolves with every use and develops a deeply personal patina.
