The leather of the SKIN Traveler is genuine cowhide, tanned and oiled to create a dense, supple surface that feels slightly oily to the touch. This treatment gives the leather its unique ability to absorb micro-impacts without transferring them to the computer's casing and to heal superficial scratches with a simple rub of the thumb—a property typical of oiled leathers that dry leather does not possess.
The surface retains the natural marks of the hide—scars, grain variations, and color nuances—which certify the authenticity of the material and make each piece unique. Within a few weeks of daily use, the leather develops a patina unique to its owner: areas of contact darken, the edges take on golden highlights, and the whole piece gains depth and character.

Compatibility: the SKIN Traveler (265 × 348 mm) accommodates the 13.3" and 13.6" MacBook Air (M1 to M4), the 13.3" MacBook Pro (Intel, M1), and the 14.2" MacBook Pro (M1 Pro to M4 Pro/Max), as well as all PC ultrabooks with dimensions not exceeding 265 × 348 mm. 15" and 16" laptops are not compatible.
Care tip: the SKIN's oiled leather requires very little maintenance—its deeply nourished surface naturally resists abrasion. A soft, dry cloth is enough for everyday care. Superficial scratches fade on their own with a light rub of the thumb—that is the advantage of oiled leather. Once a year, apply a thin layer of colorless leather balm to restore suppleness. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

These features are the signature of genuine leather and make each piece unique. The sleeve is not waterproof: avoid prolonged exposure to rain and dry it immediately if splashed. The leather may slightly transfer color to light-colored clothing during the first few weeks—a normal phenomenon that fades with use.
