Good to know: the ÉCRIN is a travel case, not a humidor. It protects your cigars from knocks and slows them from drying out while you're out or traveling, but it doesn't regulate humidity over several days. Take your cigars out of your humidor on the day you plan to smoke them.
Tip: to nourish the leather and care for its patina, apply leather balm to the exterior once or twice a year. On the engraved area, use only a dry cloth: oily products could reduce the contrast of the engraving.

Yes, the first laser engraving is included at no extra charge with the Voyageur ÉCRIN. Simply enter your text in the personalization field when placing your order: initials, a first name, a date, or a short message. The engraving is added to the leather lid before shipping; please allow one to two extra business days for processing. Check the spelling carefully, as the text is engraved exactly as you enter it.
How do I add a logo or additional engraving?
The “Engraving Options” box below the Add to cart button lets you select a logo engraving (for a business, club, association, or event) or an additional text area in addition to the free engraving. The option is added to your cart in the same quantity as the case. For a logo, we'll request your file by email after you place your order; a simple design with clean lines gives the best results on leather.
What's the difference between the Solo and Tandem versions?
The Solo version includes the leather case for 2 cigars with free engraving: the pocket in the lid is included but empty, ready to hold a cigar cutter you already own. The Tandem version also includes a steel guillotine cigar cutter that fits into the pocket. It's the most complete gift set: everything is ready to use as soon as it arrives, and all that's left is to choose the cigars.
How does the case close?
The ÉCRIN closes with a push-button clasp integrated into its metal frame: fold the lid down until it clicks, then press the small tab to open it. It has no magnet, so it can travel safely next to a mechanical watch or phone. The clasp keeps the lid securely shut in a pocket or bag, preventing it from opening accidentally.
What cigars will it hold?
The case holds two cigars, each secured by an elastic loop that keeps it from rolling or knocking against the other. Common sizes, such as robustos and coronas, fit easily. For a very long cigar or an especially thick gauge, feel free to contact us before ordering and we'll confirm whether it will fit your usual cigars. Cigars are not included.

No, it's a travel case. Its rigid structure protects cigars from knocks and limits their exposure to air during an outing, dinner, or trip, but it doesn't regulate humidity over several days. The best practice is to take your cigars out of the humidor on the day you plan to smoke them, and put them back when you return if you haven't lit them.
