Mat ceramic10 styles10 to 15 cm

Sometimes, all you need is a clay bottle and three dried sprigs. The Elementary collection gets back to basics with ten small ceramic vases in simple silhouettes: narrow-neck bottles, rounded shoulders, and cones that flare toward the base. Their matte surface, which is sometimes slightly speckled like stoneware, comes in a natural palette: ochre sand, beige, white, and very light gray. With heights between approximately 10 and 15 cm, they fit anywhere: a windowsill, bathroom shelf, nightstand, desk, or as a centerpiece. Their narrow necks are perfect for a single flower or a small bouquet of dried flowers, cotton, bunny tails, or eucalyptus branches, as shown in our photos. Standing alone, they add a soft, discreet touch; lined up in groups of three or five, mixing colors and heights, they make for a very harmonious little collection, in the spirit of Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired interiors.

The material

Ceramic with a natural grain

Elementary vases are made of ceramic, meaning clay that is shaped and then fired to become hard and durable. They have a matte and slightly granular finish: in the light, one can distinguish fine speckles on several models that recall the appearance of raw earth, far from shiny, uniform glazes.

This discreet texture catches the light very softly and gives the vases an almost handcrafted presence. The sand and beige tones evoke terracotta and linen, the white brings clarity, and the very light gray matches concrete, slate, or metal. A palette designed to blend into the decor rather than impose itself.

The beauty of almost nothing

Elementary lives up to its name: no relief, no decor, no bright colors. All the elegance relies on a perfect proportion between the shoulder, the neck, and the base, and on the grain of the material. It is this restraint that leaves all the room for plants: a single cotton flower, a dried umbel, or an olive branch is enough to create a scene.

In our photos, the vases respond to each other in small families: a sand cone next to a white bottle, two beige bottles of different heights, an ochre vase near a stack of books. This game of echoes, very simple, works in a bright living room as well as in a bedroom or an entryway, and renews itself throughout the seasons by simply changing the bouquet.

Compose an Elementary trio

1
Choose a dominant shade, for example, white or beige, and an accent shade like sand.
2
Vary the heights by combining a tall model (14 to 15 cm), a medium one (about 12 cm), and a small one (about 10 cm).
3
Fill without cluttering: one to three dried stems per vase, sometimes leaving a vase empty.
4
Arrange in a triangle, the tallest at the back, on a tray, a book, or a shelf to frame the composition.

Styles side by side

Style Shape Shade Height
1 Cone Sand 14.8 cm
2 Round bottle Sand 10.3 cm
3 Bottle Beige 14.5 cm
4 Bottle Beige 12.5 cm
5 Bottle White 14.5 cm
6 Bottle White 12.5 cm
7 Bottle Light gray 14.3 cm
8 Bottle Light gray 12 cm
9 Cone Light gray 15 cm
10 Round bottle Light gray 10 cm
Good to know: each style is sold individually. To reproduce a trio from our photos, add the desired styles to the cart separately. Dried flowers, books, candles, and decorative objects visible in the photos are not included.
Our tip: the narrow necks naturally keep stems straight. For a slightly fuller bouquet, cut the stems to different lengths: the longest in the center, the shortest on the sides. The volume then fans out above the neck without toppling over.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the size of the Elementary vases?
These are small vases, between approximately 10 and 15 cm in height depending on the style. Based on our visuals: style 1, 14.8 cm; style 2, 10.3 cm; style 3, 14.5 cm; style 4, 12.5 cm; style 5, 14.5 cm; style 6, 12.5 cm; style 7, 14.3 cm; style 8, 12 cm; style 9, 15 cm; style 10, 10 cm. The base diameter varies from approximately 6.8 to 8.7 cm. Their compact format makes them versatile vases that are easy to place, even in small spaces.
What shades are available?
The collection is available in four natural color families. Styles 1 and 2 are ochre sand, a warm shade close to terracotta. Styles 3 and 4 are beige, with a slightly speckled grain. Styles 5 and 6 are white, luminous and very soft. Styles 7 through 10 feature a very light gray shade, photographed against a dark background. All have a matte finish. Shades may vary slightly depending on lighting and screen settings.
What flowers should I put in a narrow-neck vase?
The narrow neck of Elementary vases is made for light arrangements. A single stem, used as a soliflore, is often enough: a rose, an olive branch, an umbel. For a small bouquet, prefer dried flowers with thin stems: cotton, bunny tails (lagurus), baby's breath, statice, eucalyptus, or grasses, as in our photos. Avoid thick stems or large bouquets, which would not fit in the neck and risk unbalancing these small vases. It is better to have a few well-chosen stems than a bouquet that is too dense.
Can I put water in them?
Since the water-tightness of these vases is not specified, we recommend using them primarily with dried or artificial flowers, which perfectly match their natural spirit and require no maintenance. If you wish to use fresh flowers, first perform a test with a little water by placing the vase on a protected surface, and check that there is no moisture under the base before placing it on a wooden piece of furniture or a fragile shelf. Also, remember to change the water regularly.
How can I combine several styles?
The easiest way is to play with heights and shades. For example, combine a tall model, such as style 9 or style 1, with a medium bottle and a small round model, such as style 2 or style 10. Regarding colors, two options work well: monochromatic, with three vases of the same shade, or soft contrast, mixing sand, beige, and white. Arrange them in a triangle, the tallest set back, and leave a little space between each vase so that each one retains its presence.
How do I care for these vases?
A simple soft, dry cloth is enough to remove dust from the matte surface. In case of a mark, use a barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh household products and abrasive sponges, which could smooth or mark the ceramic grain. For the interior, if you have used water, rinse and let the vase dry upside down. Handle the vase by the body rather than the neck, which is thinner and therefore more fragile in the event of an impact.
Is it a good gift idea?
Yes, it is an elegant and accessible small gift. An Elementary vase filled with a few dried flowers becomes a ready-to-give present, ideal for thanking someone, welcoming them, or decorating an office. For a more generous gift, compose a trio of assorted styles, for example, three different shades or three heights in the same color. Their sober aesthetic appeals to a wide audience and fits into most interiors, from contemporary to classic. A gift that lasts, unlike a simple bouquet.
