Tout savoir
The Mémosphère ceiling light is not just a light fixture: it's a participatory work of art. Suspended from thin metal clips on a radiating structure of black lacquered steel, dozens of illustrated paper cards float around the light source like a graphic constellation. Light emerges from the center and passes through this paper cloud, projecting moving shadow play onto the walls and ceiling, radically transforming the room's ambiance. Available in four distinct artistic styles (ABC, Nordic Notes, Ink and Wash, Timeless White) and three sizes (80, 100 or 120 cm), offering twelve possible combinations. The Timeless White model provides a blank canvas for your creativity: draw, write, photograph your own cards to create a unique light fixture imbued with personal meaning. A living and evolving decorative object that changes with the daylight, with your mood, with your additions. Work of Art Customizable

📦 What you receive
Which style to choose for your interior?
| Style | Universe | Ideal for |
|---|---|---|
| ABC | Illustrated alphabets, playful spirit | Children's room, play area, classroom |
| Nordic Notes | Clean Scandinavian notes | Minimalist interiors, Scandinavian design |
| Ink and Wash | Traditional Asian ink washes | Contemplative atmospheres, zen decor, Japandi |
| Timeless White | Blank cards for personalization | Creatives, personalized gifts, evolving projects |
Bulb recommendation: opt for an E27 warm white (2700-3000 K) LED bulb, globe or transparent Edison shape. An intensity of 600 to 1000 lumens will effectively reveal patterns and illustrations through the paper cards. Avoid overly powerful bulbs that would be dazzling at the center — the beauty of the Mémosphère lies in the progressive diffusion of light through the cloud of cards. Bulbs with a visible LED filament (decorative Edison style) work particularly well as they add an aesthetic luminous point to the heart of the composition.
Personalizing the Timeless White model: blank cards accept graphite pencils, fine-tip markers, fountain pens, colored inks, and light watercolors. For watercolor use, stick to light washes to avoid warping the paper. Personalization ideas: family photos printed in card format, handwritten inspirational quotes, sketches of travel memories, important dates and milestones, portraits of loved ones with markers. You can also create seasonal evolving compositions by replacing cards throughout the year. Test on one card first before personalizing the whole set.
Handling the cards: the metal clips allow each card to be removed, flipped, or replaced individually. Handle with delicacy to preserve the illustrated paper. For maintenance, use only a natural feather duster or a soft air blower to dust regularly. Absolutely avoid water, cleaning sprays, and damp cloths in contact with the cards. For thorough cleaning, remove cards one by one using the clips. The steel structure can be wiped with a dry cloth.
