Crazy horse leather is a full-grain cowhide impregnated with natural waxes that give it its aged appearance and slightly grainy feel. Each piece features unique color variations — marks, shades, irregularities — which are not defects but the very signature of the material.
Its unique feature: when folded or rubbed, the wax migrates under the surface and the color changes locally. It is a living leather that evolves. On the MISSIVE, the absence of lining showcases both sides of the leather: the smooth side on the outside, and the raw suede side on the inside, for an authentic and artisanal finish.

The Voyageur MISSIVE takes its name from the correspondence envelopes of the past — those folds of leather or thick paper in which one would slip an important letter before sealing it. The principle remains: a folded rectangle of leather, a flap that closes, and precious content inside. Here, parchment has given way to a screen.
The choice to remove all lining is not a cost-saving measure — it is a statement. The inner face reveals the raw suede leather, with its visible fibers and natural texture. This choice reduces the thickness to 3 millimeters and gives the sleeve a living flexibility: it conforms to the shape of your computer rather than locking it in a rigid shell. The four magnets, embedded in the leather of the flap and the body, maintain the closure with calibrated force — firm enough not to open in a bag, soft enough to release the laptop with a fluid motion. Care tip — Crazy horse leather protects itself naturally thanks to its integrated wax. Small scratches disappear by rubbing the area with a finger or a soft cloth: the wax migrates and evens out the surface. Avoid prolonged contact with water. If the leather seems dry after several months of use, a light application of clear greasy leather balm is enough to revive its luster.
