The LeatherPods is designed for the 1st generation AirPods charging case, which has a vertical format. It is not suitable for AirPods Pro or 3rd generation AirPods, whose cases are wider and lower. The cover consists of two parts. First, slide the case into the body of the cover, with the bottom of the case towards the base. Then open the case and fit the cover lid onto the earphone lid by pressing gently over its entire surface. Close and open it several times to ensure the movement is fluid. A snug fit at the beginning is normal: this guarantees it stays securely in place. To remove the cover, follow the steps in reverse without forcing the leather.
Can I charge my earphones with the cover on?
The cover is designed to remain in place for daily use. The 1st generation AirPods case is charged by cable via a connector at the bottom. Before plugging it in, check that the bottom part of the cover leaves this connector accessible; if necessary, simply remove the body of the cover while charging, which only takes a few seconds. We also recommend allowing the cover to dry completely if it has been exposed to moisture before charging.
How do I maintain the leather?
Wipe the cover regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
