Crazy horse leather is full-grain leather treated with hot wax and oil, using a proven technique that gives it an oiled, matte, and slightly rustic appearance. Its unique feature: the surface carries a light waxy veil that, under friction or a simple thumb movement, reveals lighter shades by contrast—this is known as the "pull-up" effect.
With use, the Mario TRAVELER ages beautifully: grip areas darken slightly, creases become more defined, and the patina takes hold. Where plastic imitations become dull, crazy horse leather becomes more beautiful, richer, and more uniquely yours. The suede interior provides the softness needed to slide the console in and out without risk: the feel is velvety, never abrasive, and gentle on screens and finishes.

How do I know which size to order? Measure your console laid flat, with side controllers attached. If it measures approximately 25.8 cm wide by 10.2 cm high, choose the 1st generation model. If it measures approximately 27.2 cm by 11.6 cm—larger screen, more substantial chassis—opt for the 2nd generation. Each size is custom-fit: a case that is too big will allow the console to rattle, while a case that is too small makes insertion difficult. Please select the size appropriate for your model.
Crazy horse leather care: Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth—minor superficial scratches can be hidden with a simple rub of the thumb (the oil in the material redistributes). Once or twice a year, apply a neutral leather cream or conditioner to nourish the fiber and revive the patina. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and intense heat sources.

Choose the correct size: the Mario TRAVELER is custom-fit by generation. The 1st Gen model will not fit the 2nd Gen (too small), and the 2nd Gen will allow the 1st Gen to move around too much. Verify your console generation before ordering. Natural leather variations: tone and grain vary slightly from one case to another—this is the signature of full-grain crazy horse leather, not a defect. The console, its controllers, and cartridges are not included.
